How is pricing calculated?

We charge by loaded miles, with per-mile rates that scale by number of horses and haul type (private vs shared). Local hauls (≤100 miles) have a $150 minimum trip charge. Pickup locations more than 50 miles from our home base add $1.25 per extra mile. Use the Instant Quote tool for an itemized estimate.

Do I need a negative Coggins?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A current negative Coggins is required for all interstate transport and for most facilities. Many states accept results within the last 12 months — check the destination's requirements. You can upload yours during booking.

Do I need a health certificate?

Accepted Answer

A health certificate (CVI) issued by a licensed veterinarian is required for interstate travel and is typically valid for 30 days. We'll need a copy before pickup.

Do you offer GPS tracking?

Yes — GPS tracking is available so you can follow your horse's trip in real time, with photo updates at major stops.

Can you handle emergency transport?

Yes. We respond fast for after-hours, same-day, and medical emergencies. An emergency pickup fee applies.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit cards, cash, check, Cash App, and Venmo. Deposits and full payments are supported, and you'll receive a receipt for every transaction.

What's the difference between shared and private hauls?

Accepted Answer

Private = your horse(s) ride alone, on a direct route. Shared = your horse rides with other horses on a planned route, lowering cost per mile. Both get the same level of care.

What's your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations made more than 7 days before pickup are fully refundable. Within 7 days, deposits may be retained to offset reserved scheduling. We always work with you on emergencies.

What happens in bad weather?

Horse safety comes first. We monitor conditions closely and will delay or reroute if conditions become unsafe. You'll be notified immediately of any change.
